Background

Research in Computational Advertising addresses both Sponsored search and Contextual Advertising. Research in sponsored search involves recommending an ordered set of ads for a given user query. Research in Contextual advertisement includes finding advertisement keywords on a web page, choosing the top ads that best match the 'context' of the web page.

Research Areas

Finding advertising keywords from web pages for contextual advertising and simulating ads for both sponsored search and contextual advertising.
